PUBLIC ALLIES ARIZONA LEADERSHIP
Lou Haiduk, Co-Director 
Lou Haiduk (she/her) is a two-term AmeriCorps service veteran with a passion for social justice. She has served from Cedar Rapids, IA, to Jackson, MI, with Denver, CO, in between. Following her AmeriCorps service, Lou taught six years as a middle school teacher in Flagstaff, before relocating to Tucson. Lou graduated from Texas Tech University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English & Theatre Arts. She worked for one year as a Program Manager for Public Allies Arizona before joining Sarai Richter as a Co-Director. Lou is excited to strengthen the Public Allies Arizona curriculum and expanded the Public Allies mission in Greater Tucson.
Sarai Richter, Co-Director 
Sarai Richter’s (They/Them) background encompasses nearly 13 years of experience in national service and global civic engagement. Sarai is an alumni of both AmeriCorps and VISTA and a Return Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Cambodia. Sarai possesses degrees in both Anthropology and Political Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Justice and Human Rights. In Sarai’s current role as Co-Director of Public Allies Arizona, their focus areas include recruitment of Allies and Partner Organizations, compliance, strategic planning and system analysis.
