We all have a role to play in addressing the climate crisis.

Keep reading for some ways to celebrate our planet, get involved, and take action within your community:

Organize.

Find a group in your community that is dedicated to taking action against the climate crisis. Here’s a resource to get started.

Vote with Climate in Mind.

Research how elected officials have voted on climate issues and vote accordingly. Learn more about your state/city officials.

Spend Consciously.

The average citizen is not contributing directly to the climate crisis nearly as much as some of the largest companies on the planet.

Support sustainable, transparent companies.

Be Informed.

Here are the names of some Indigenous climate activists you should know about:

Pinar Sinopoulos-Lloyd (they/them)

Xiuhtezcatl Martinez (he/him)

Public Allies is dedicated to disrupting systems that impact marginalized communities, while listening, learning, and working across differences to build the common good. Join us.
