We’re looking for a creative, astute, experienced, digital-friendly leader to be Youth Collaboratory’s Communication Manager!
The Communication Manager is responsible for developing and implementing our communication efforts and curating content in partnership with our program team. The Communication Manager will also communicate Youth Collaboratory’s work in a way that aligns with brand identities and speaks to key audiences across a range of distribution channels.
Salary Range: $68,000 – $77,000 per year.
Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Implement Communication Efforts:
Work with the Associate Director of Communication to develop, implement, and evaluate Youth Collaboratory’s communication plan.
Track effectiveness with analytics and prepare reports to support strategies and organizational development goals.
Manage Youth Collaboratory’s communication distribution channels (digital, face-to-face, and written) in alignment with the communication plan and editorial calendar.
Curate Content in Partnership with the Program Team:
Ensure messaging across the organization is on-brand, consistent, and optimized by leveraging connections with the Program Team across each of our focus areas.
Partner with staff to draft content for social media, emails, news (blog) posts, and other marketing materials that is on-brand, meets grants and contract deliverables, and is aligned with the communication plan.
Brand and produce materials such as rack cards, handouts, slide decks, and reports.

Comfortable working remotely and can communicate effectively via any medium including Zoom, Google Hangout, email, chat, etc.
Experience Minimum of three years professional experience working in a communications department or media company, or equivalent. Experience in business-to-business marketing is a plus.
Impeccable written, communication, and editing skills.
Exemplary time management and organizational skills.
Proven success in managing and implementing multi-component plans, quickly adapting to change and anticipating/resolving challenges as they arise.
Is confident and skilled at using digital systems. Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, Drupal, MailChimp, Salesforce, social media platforms, and photo, video, and audio editing software is a plus.
Ability to review Spanish language materials for translation accuracy is a plus.
